Your Conference Prep Checklist

Welcome to your one-stop resource for getting ready for the 2025 CPI Certified Instructors’ Conference! Use this page to complete all the essential steps before you arrive.

1. Download the Event App

The Eventee app is your go-to for schedules, updates, and networking.

  • Get started by downloading the Eventee app using the link below:
  • To access the event, you’ll need to click Create an Account using the same email address you used to register for the Conference.
  • After creating your account, you will automatically be added to the 2025 Conference Event.
  • Be sure to allow push notifications so you don’t miss important updates, announcements, or last-minute changes.

2. Review the Agenda and Build Your Schedule

Explore sessions, workshops, networking events, and offsite activities. Start adding sessions to your personal agenda in the app.

  • Navigate to the Program tab of the app.
  • Toggle between days and tap any session to learn more. Tap the heart icon on the top right to add sessions to your personal agenda.
    • Note: Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee a spot in that session. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • View your customized agenda on your Dashboard.

3. Submit Dietary Preferences

Let us know your dietary needs so we can accommodate you. Please reach out to Mary Burke by emailing mburke@crisisprevention.com.

4. Complete Your Pre-Event Questionnaire and Impact Assessment

To help the keynote presentation be as relevant and impactful as possible, we ask for two items:

  • To help you get the greatest value out of our time together and gain some fresh insights about yourself, please take 3 minutes to complete the following impact assessment. Your individual results will be revealed to you immediately after the Monday Keynote Session.

5. Finalize Travel Plans

Secure your hotel and travel plans.

Visit our travel page to book your hotel, review transportation options, and to see our Nashville recommendations.

6. Review Parking Information

Hotel Valet

The Grand Hyatt Nashville only offers valet parking.

Rates:

  • For guests that are on property for more than 5 hours or overnight guests: $60.00 per day
  • For guests with larger vehicles and trucks: $70.00 per day
  • For guests that are on property for 0-5 hours: $25.00

Self-Parking Pinnacle Building

Location:

  • 131 10th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37203

Directions:

  • Drive past Grand Hyatt on 10th Avenue.
  • Enter the first parking garage on the left once you have entered the tunnel labeled “Nashville Yards”.

Parking:

  • After entering the garage on 10th Avenue.
  • If parked on a different level, take the elevator to B2.
  • From B2 exit by the pedestrian ramp on to 10th Avenue.
  • Upon exiting Pinnacle Parking Garage, turn right on 10th Avenue to Grand Hyatt Nashville.

Payment:

  • On arrival scan one of the QR Codes that are posted around the structure to sign up for Metropolis Parking. Or go online to www.metropolis.io/join. to join preemptively before coming to the event.
  • Create an account, enter vehicle license plate, and credit or debit card information if required.
  • Before exiting the parking garage scan the provided QR code if provided.

7. Add a Training Program

If you haven’t already, make sure to register for Verbal Intervention™, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® (NCI™), NCI™ With Intermediate Physical Skills, or NCI™ With Advanced Physical Skills for on-site training at the Grand Hyatt Nashville.

Training programs start Wednesday, July 9.

8. Know the Dress Code

For on- and off-site Conference events and training, please wear appropriate business casual clothing. We highly recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes for hands-on training.

9. Start Networking

Connect with fellow attendees before the event begins!

  • Use the event app Social Wall or Networking tab to start conversations.
  • Use our official hashtag: #CPICON2025
